ARTI 407 - Introduction to Natural Language Processing Description The Natural Language Processing (NLP) course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the techniques and algorithms used in NLP, a subfield of AI that focuses on the interaction between computers and humans using natural language. The course covers the fundamental concepts of NLP, including text processing, sentiment analysis, text classification, and named entity recognition. Students will learn about the latest NLP techniques and algorithms, including deep learning approaches, and will gain hands-on experience using these methods to build NLP models. Throughout the course, students will have opportunities to work on real-world NLP projects and applications, applying the knowledge and skills they have gained to real-world challenges. Students are encouraged to use the knowledge from this course in their Capstone Applied Project.
