CNTR 228 - Fire Alarm Fundamentals Description This course provides an introduction and general understanding of fire alarm detection and protection systems. You’ll begin by examining hazards, procedures and equipment related to fire protection, as well as identifying and describing fire detection and alarm system regulations. You’ll determine the criteria for the installation of a fire alarm system and for the location of its components, which includes interpreting drawings and specifications. You’ll then get hands-on practice connecting, testing and troubleshooting fire alarm systems. You’ll conclude the course by learning how to verify and maintain fire alarm systems.
