TRBN 200 - Introductory Engine Concepts


Description
This course lays the foundation for your identification and understanding of basic engine systems, beginning with an understanding of the aerodynamics of fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. You’ll describe the documentation required for working on turbine engines and the standard practices for their maintenance. You’ll also explore the function and operation of gas turbine engine components, including compressors, combustors, turbines and fuel systems, as well as factors that affect their performance.
