TRBN 250 - Aeroderivatives

Description
Aeroderivative gas turbines, are the industrial gas turbines based on aircraft engines or a similar design. In this course, you’ll explore the systems unique to aeroderivative engines and how industrial gas turbines are utilized and what they have in common with their aviation counterparts. You’ll learn the differences in certification and maintenance requirements between industrial and aviation turbines. In addition to that, you’ll also examine the performance characteristics and maintenance requirements of aeroderivative gas turbine engines, and explore their applications in industries other than aviation, including oil and gas.
