CHEN 312 - Unit Operations Laboratory

Description
This course provides an opportunity to apply the principles learned in the program to the operation of a variety of pilot-plant scale chemical process equipment. Topics include: fluid mechanics, pumps, heat exchangers, phase behaviour, compressor simulation and separating mixtures by distillation, gas absorption and evaporation. An important aspect of your laboratory experience will be to develop a safety-conscious work attitude.
