DRLG 451 - Drilling Technology - Advanced
Description
This is an overview of basic drilling practices followed by advanced drilling technology, planning, bit selection, hydraulics, blowout control and mud technology. Drilling of deviated wells, multiwells, horizontal wells and well completions are also covered, in addition to recent advances in drilling such as underbalanced drilling, coiled-tubing drilling, and slim hole drilling.
