MEDL 310 - Histotechnology 1 Description This course will introduce the principles and practices of preparing tissue sections from clinical specimens including gross dissection, fixation, decalcification, processing, embedding, microtomy, and cryotomy. In addition, the learner will be introduced to the functional classification of cells and tissue arrangements, followed by a description of the microanatomical structure of the major organs of the body.
