SCMT 4010 - Procurement II


Description
In this course, you will explore advanced topics related to procurement and contract management, including managing lease agreements, outsourcing, public sector procurement and sole-source suppliers. You will look at green procurement and sustainability, sourcing in emerging markets, strategic sourcing, supplier diversity programs, supplier relationship management, partnerships, and vendor performance and appraisal, contracts, global sourcing, purchasing services, technology, and recent trends in strategic sourcing. You will be able to explain how procurement and contract management in the supply chain supports the organization’s strategy and are fundamental in creating a sustainable, competitive advantage. Topics covered include those covered in the Procurement I course.
