PHYS 209 - Radiation Physics


Description
This course introduces the characteristics of radioactivity and methods of detection. Topics include the structure of the atom and nucleus, radioactivity and related calculations, modes of decay, interaction with matter and radionuclide detectors used in nuclear medicine.
