RADP 215 - Radiation Protection


Description
Radiation Protection introduces radiographic policies, regulations and procedures that are based on the as-low-as-reasonably-achievable (ALARA) principle for the protection of self, the patient and the other individuals who may find themselves exposed to medical radiation. Topics will also include the effects of ionizing radiation on body tissues and the detection and measurement of radiation.
