MATH 267 - Applied Mathematics for Technicians and Skilled Trades - 2 Description This course builds on foundational mathematical skills and focuses on intermediate applications used in technical and skilled trade environments. Learners apply algebraic methods, geometry, and trigonometry to solve multi-step problems involving measurements, angles, and right triangles. Emphasis is placed on interpreting and manipulating formulas, working with ratios and proportions, and solving practical problems encountered in trade-related settings. Mathematical reasoning and accuracy are reinforced through real-world technical applications.
For students enrolled in Machining Technology, MATH 266 must be taken before MATH 267.
