ETHI 401 - Responsible AI


Description
This course integrates the ethical, human-centered, and governance aspects of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into one applied framework. Students will explore how to design, develop, and manage AI systems that prioritize human values, fairness, transparency, and accountability. Through case studies, hands-on labs, and practical design exercises, students will examine ethical principles, regulatory frameworks, and user-centered design methodologies that ensure responsible AI deployment. Emphasis will be placed on creating AI systems that respect human rights, promote social good, and align with emerging global standards for AI governance and trustworthy AI design.
