MEDL 206 - Applied Anatomy and Terminology Description In this course, you will be introduced to human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology concepts required by medical laboratory assistants. You will learn the prefixes, suffixes, and root words used to build and decipher medical terminology. You will explore various body systems, such as the urinary and cardiac systems, while also using accurate medical terms to describe the structures, functions, processes, and diseases of these systems. By the end of this course, you will be able to effectively communicate anatomical information and medical terminology in a workplace setting.
