DENT 200 - Orofacial Structures Description This course introduces you to the science of dental anatomy, including the structures of the oral cavity, primary and permanent dentition, the periodontium, the salivary glands, and lymphatic system. You’ll identify teeth using different classification systems, and understand the sequence of tooth eruption. Additionally, you’ll get hands-on practice sculpting oral morphology and you’ll explore the embryonic development of the face and oral cavity, so that you can analyze the microscopic and macroscopic anatomy of teeth, their supporting structures, and dental anomalies.
