DENT 351 - Clinical Integration 2

Description
In this course, you will create personal plans for continuing competence and professional development. Through seminars and labs, you will review and practice your clinical therapy skills. You will apply evidence-based decision-making to oral self-care and patient case studies by developing a plan to manage periodontal therapy. You will learn about jurisprudence, focusing on the laws governing the practice of dental hygiene, the Dental Hygienist Professional Regulation, the Health Professions Restricted Activity Regulation and the Alberta College of Dental Hygienists’ bylaws, guidelines and Standards of Practice.
