ELTR 354 - Power Electronics

Description
This course includes power line converters and inverters, power factor correction, filters, protection, isolation, regulation and regulators, motor control, class D audio amplifiers, pulse width modulation, chassis power distribution, printed circuit board (PCB) power distribution network with line noise reduction and local energy storage, PCB layout techniques to enhance efficiency, radiated and conducted emissions and heatsinking techniques. Safety training and techniques for high voltage, high current and temperature will also be provided.
