INST 353 - Instrumentation Systems Description This course provides a comprehensive overview of instrumentation systems, focusing on wiring, power configurations, and safety standards. You will design, configure, and troubleshoot instrument loops while exploring power sources, shielding requirements, and panel layouts. The course covers 4-20 mA and HART signaling, relay logic applications, and load calculations. Additionally, you will examine grounding techniques, intrinsic safety, explosion-proof requirements, and compare IEC and CEC wiring standards for industrial instrumentation.
