ENVS 352 - Conservation and Land Use Description This course introduces the interconnected processes of land classification, use, and governance in Alberta. Students will explore how regulations by municipal, provincial, federal, and non-governmental organizations impact organisms and environmental resources. Emphasis is placed on recommending governance systems that support conservation of biotic and abiotic resources, while incorporating viewpoints beyond western perspectives.
