FISC 300 - Ecology and Conservation Field School

Description
This course emphasizes experiential learning to train students for independent and safe fieldwork in Alberta, with an emphasis on undisturbed land. Students will apply techniques in habitat assessment, species identification, emerging technologies, and monitoring the interdependence between biotic and abiotic factors. All while developing critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, culminating in a final field observation report.
