Television Production Essentials immerses students in the fast-paced world of live and recorded video production, providing hands-on experience with the tools, workflows, and teamwork required to bring studio and field productions to life. This intermediate-to-advanced course emphasizes the integration of technical systems, creative planning, and production coordination within a real-time environment. Students will take on key production roles, both behind the scenes and on set, as they learn how to manage multi-camera setups, coordinate live audio and visuals, and contribute to the smooth operation of a professional control room. Through practical, collaborative projects, students will gain the skills and confidence to produce polished visual media for broadcast, streaming, and other digital platforms.
