RFRG 208 - Refrigeration and Mechanical Cooling


Description
This course introduces you to refrigeration and air systems used in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R) applications. You’ll explore air properties, air flow design, air handling systems, filtration systems and associated components. You’ll examine thermodynamic principles, the vapour compression cycle and gas laws. You’ll also explore service components and safe handling practices, including service valves, and the properties, handling, storage, recovery and disposal of refrigerants and refrigeration oils.
