Program Description


SAIT Polytechnic’s highly experienced instructors lead this hands-on program, providing training in all aspects of web design including developing for the mobile world, design theory, visual communication, computer graphics, technology, and professional skills. In our hands on labs, you’ll learn the latest technologies and implement them immediately to build your skills. From HTML5 and mobile responsive design to JQuery and Cascading Style Sheets, we’ll teach you the technologies to publish visually appealing, highly functional websites. Students must take 10 courses to complete the program; seven (7) mandatory and three (3) electives.

Progression


You have up to five years to complete all certificate courses. You must meet the graduation requirements as they exist at the time you register for your first course (see AC.3.1.1 Grading and Progression).

Admission Requirements


There are no entrance requirements for this program. You can begin registering for courses anytime by clicking a course name or calling 403-284-7248. Once you have registered for at least one course and have a SAIT student ID number, consider filling out and submitting the Program Declaration Form to the Office of the Registrar. Contact information for the Office of the Registrar is located in the upper corner of the form.
