Program Description
Fourth Class is the starting point for those looking to work with high pressure boilers. Successful completion of Part A prepares students to write the government Part A exam, and successful completion of Part B prepares students to write the government Part B exam. For full government certification as a Fourth Class Power Engineer, students must have also six months of relevant government approved work experience. If you are located outside of Alberta, please contact your provincial boilers branch.. For more information about the distance learning program, please email distance.education@sait.ca.
Please note that students are unable to transfer between Classroom and Distance/Online offerings of this course. In order to switch between Classroom and Distance/Online offerings, students must withdraw from their current course and register in their desired course. Progression
You have up to five years to complete all certificate courses. You must meet the graduation requirements as they exist at the time you register for your first course (see AC.3.1.1 Grading and Progression). |
